Can baseball be compared to the complexity of life? This is what “9 Ends, 2 Outs” tries to do as the drama depict the lives of Hong Nan-Hee (Soo Ae) and Byun Hyung-Tae (Lee Jung-Jin). As the two characters venture into the world as 30 year olds they question their lives. Was it purposeful? What are they most proud of? Did they love as hard as they wanted to? What kind of regrets do they have?

These are all questions we probably ask ourselves as we grow older. As the two friends, who’ve known each other all their lives, experience what it’s to be 30 together, they realize that life isn’t so bad…and love is closer than they think!
