Beethoven Virus is about a misfit orchestra of random people brought together for their love of classical music. The conductor, Kang Ma-Ae (Kim Myung-Min), was brought back to Korea after 10 years of living abroad to lead this orchestra. However, his stubborn and cocky attitude can’t believe he was mislead into conducting an orchestra such as the one Doo Roo-Mi (Lee Ji-Ah) had formed.

What’s worse is that Kang Gun-Woo (Jang Geun-Suk) and Kim Gap-Yong (Lee Soon-Jae) have had personal experiences with Conductor Kang that has left them both already bitter at the thought of facing him once again.

Gun-Woo and Ji-Ah will form a close relationship during this time. At the same time Conductor Kang and Ji-Ah will encounter one another many times as Ji-Ah is the face of the orchestra which will eventually lead to feelings for one another.

Will this group of people be able to perform at the high level Conductor Kang expects? Will Conductor Kang be able to learn from this group that there is more to life than beautiful music?
