Shin Moo-Chul (Kim Kang-Woo) is a welder who is passionate about life. He runs to relieve his emotions, whether that be during times of sadness, nervousness, or happiness. To add to that, Moo-Chul gathers his courage and hope from running. By running, Moo-Chul is able to temporary relieve himself from thinking of his dark family background and current life of poverty. Aside from his passion for running, Moo-Chul is an avid reader who found his identity by reading books.

Kang Hee-Ya (Chae Jung-Ahn) is an attractive, artistic young girl who majored in design, but then found her passion in photography. She is bombarded with guys who are interested in dating her but she has not yet met her prince charming. One day, she meets Moo-Chul and is dumbfounded when he does not seem to take an interest in her. Hee-Ya, being a girl used to receiving attention from guys, makes it her mission to make Moo-Chul notice her. However, in the process of trying to seduce him, she ends up being the one falling in love with Moo-Chul!

Yoon Yae-Sup (Lee Jong-Soo) is a medical student from a reputable family. He is the dream husband for any parent’s daughter. Yae-Sup is the long time friend of Hee-Ya’s brother, Kang Hee-Chun (Kim Jung-Hyun). He tries to impress Hee-Ya with his manliness only to come to the realization that she has fallen in love with Moo-Chul, who is nothing more than a poor welder! To make matters worse, Hee-Chun seems to encourage their relationship!

Will Moo-Chul, who is completely different than Hee-Ya, really be able to keep up a relationship? Or will Yae-Sup successfully capture Hee-Ya’s heart?
