“Han River Ballad” is story of life and love portrayed through the character, Kim Young-Hee (Go Doo-Shim). Young-Hee is a widow who supports her family by selling fish. Although she has been through a lot, she still keeps a vibrant attitude and constantly showers love on her family. Young-Hee’s two daughters in the story are Yoon Ga-Young (Kim Hye-Soo) and Yoon Na-Young (Kim Min-Sun), and her nephew is Yoon Da-Young (Lee Yoon-Ji).
Together, Young-Hee’s family endure hardship and persevere by leaning on each other.
