Just an average girl, Kim Sam-Soon (Kim Sun-Ah) is trying her best to live her life. However, after catching a cheating boyfriend, getting fired from her job, and trying to support her family, it doesn’t seem as if anything is going her way these days!
She finally gets a job, but works for someone who is cold and mean-hearted, Hyun Jin-Hun (Hyun Bin). One day, a situation arises where he asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend. After much thought she reluctantly agrees to do so.
Due to this odd relationship, the two begin to learn more about each other. Sam-Soon later discovers that Jin-Hun had been in a car accident which resulted in his brother and sister-in-law’s death. In addition, his first love and long time girlfriend abruptly left Korea shortly after the accident leaving Jin-Hun no explanation.
Sam-Soon’s feelings for him begin to grow, but is short lived when Yoo Hee-Jin (Jung Rae-Won) returns to Korea and seeks Jin-Hun!
What will become of Sam-Soon and Jin-Hun? Is their relationship nothing more than a contract?
