King Sejong was a well respected leader who served as the 4th king of the Chosun Dynasty. While it’s hard to quickly identify a great leader of historic times, many will enthusiastically agree that King Sejong is highly regarded. What he is notably recognized for is his significant role in helping to create the Korean alphabet.
While most Korean epic dramas are full of political disputes, economic turmoil, and the such, this drama seeks to bring out the greatness in Korean history while highlighting one of its greatest moments in time.
King Sejong was a great contributor to society, and while it wasn’t an easy road he took, this drama will focus on his life and his journey as he takes on the role as the 4th king of the Chosun Dynasty.
