What would you do if you found out that the love of your life was having an affair? This drama goes BACK in time, unraveling a twisted and dark story between four people. No one knows how this story will end but that someone or a few people will end up losing their lives.
Yoon Hye-Jin (Oh Yun-Soo) coincidentally meets Ha Dong-Won (Jung Bo-Suk) while he is on a business trip in Japan, where she used to reside. The two hit it off but while Dong-Won thought it was just for fun, Hye-Jin ends up becoming pregnant with his child… Not knowing what to do she goes to Korea in search of him. After much thought Dong-Won decides to propose to Hye-Jin and the two get married.
While she is playing the perfect house wife and mother to her two children, she’s deeply empty inside as she wants more out of life, such as a real marriage, experiencing true love, and pursuing her passions. While Hye-Jin may not have realized this emptiness before, she quickly feels this like a punch in the gut when she eventually finds out her husband is cheating on her for a much younger and attractive young woman. Not knowing what to do she tells her husband she must go to Japan for a break… while there, she will meet Lee Joon-Soo (Lee Dong-Wook) and fall in love with him. What she doesn’t realize at the time is that he had been watching her for quite some time.
So what is Joon-Soo’s motive and who is he really? And what will Da-Ae decide to do once she realizes she can’t break away from her relationship with Dong-Won?
