Kang Oh-Soo (Uhm Tae-Woong) is the son of a successful business man. His father owns a huge hotel and expects Oh-Soo to become a leader in his company. Because his father was always busy doing business, Oh-Soo is neglected as a child and becomes the school bully.
One day, Oh-Soo and his friends are bullying a student named Tae-Hoon when a horrible accident occurs. Oh-Soo grabs a pocket knife from Tae-Hoon and accidentally stabs him with the knife as he throws him to the ground! Not knowing what to do, he runs off with his friends leaving Tae-Hoon to bleed to death. As Oh-Soo runs from the scene of the accident, he runs into a little girl named Suh Hae-In (Shin Min-Ah) and drops the knife. Hae-In grabs the knife and makes the shocking realization that she has psychometric abilities! As she clutches the knife in her hand she relives Tae-Hoon’s stabbing and eventually finds herself next to his body. She becomes the primary witness during the court trial but Tae-Hoon’s death gets dismissed as an accident.
12 years later, Oh-Soo finds himself in a bizarre murder investigation that is somehow connected to Tae-Hoon’s accidental death. Ironically, he ends up seeking Hae-In’s help without realizing she was the primary witness during his court trial 12 years ago! She uses her psychometric powers to help Oh-Soo gather evidence. At the same time, the famous lawyer, Oh Seung-Ha (Joo Ji-Hoon) gets involved as the suspected murderer’s lawyer.
As Oh-Soo continues his criminal investigation, he begins to suspect that an unknown mastermind, has carefully orchestrated each of the killings. It is also during this time that Oh-Soo begins to fall in love with Hae-In, who happens to already have her heart set on Seung-Ha. To make things even more complicated, some of Oh-Soo’s associates begin suspecting Seung-Ha may actually be Tae-Hoon’s brother, Tae-Seung!
Will Oh-Soo be able to solve the murder mystery? And if Seung-Ha is really Tae-Seung, could that mean he is the one behind all the killings?
